The idea of taking on a physical challenge can be really appealing. Whether it’s hiking, climbing, or cycling. But the problem for many people is time. When booking more than a fortnight’s holiday involves multiple chats with management and HR, the logistics of a 23 day hike to the K2 Base Camp can be a challenge in an of itself. More so, if you want to factor in a few days rest at the end of it.
But what many people don’t realise is that you can find a whole range of challenges that it’s possible to complete in less than a week. And you don’t have to stay in the UK for all of them. These are six of our favourites.
