JOIN US FOR THE ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME
Our travel-for-a-cause adventures combine a love of exploring and discovering the world with doing something incredibly worthwhile for charity.
We work hard to make sure that each person who travels on our charity challenges has an unforgettable experience, but also a safe one. Read on to find out the ways in which we strive to make sure that everyone who embarks on an adventure with us has a smooth and extraordinary trip.
15+ YEARS EXPERIENCE
We organised our first Kilimanjaro climb in 2005, and since then have gone on to take over 12,000 people on a wide selection of challenges across the world.
We carefully select our in-country partners based on their experience, track record and ability to meet our ethical tourism standards. All our hotels are secure, with 24/7 security and established links to the local major hospitals. Our mountain guides are fully trained in wilderness first-aid and each has several years experience of safely guiding participants on their respective challenges.
TRUSTED TRAVEL ADVICE
We constantly monitor the travel advice and alerts issued by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and adhere to all regulatory standards as directed by our trade body, ABTA. We pass on up-to-date health & safety guidance to participants, including regular updates on any dynamic travel-related issues, such as restrictions imposed by the Coronavirus Pandemic. You can view the FCDO's current advice for travel to all our destinations here:
TRAVEL SAFETY
We ensure that all of our participants hold valid and appropriate travel insurance when they travel on one of our trips. We also pride ourselves on having fantastic, English speaking guides on each trip so you are in safe hands. We even provide doctors on some overseas expeditions.
Each of our challenge itineraries are robustly risk-assessed at least once a year, with regular audits to ensure each aspect of your trip conforms to the appropriate safety standards. We then work closely with our in-country teams to ensure everything runs smoothly when you’re out there!
24/7 SUPPORT
We operate an emergency line which can be reached 24 hours a day throughout the duration of any of our events. You’ll always be able to get through to an expert who is on hand to provide assistance, no matter what the situation.
We are available before, during and after your challenge to offer any advice we can, from what to pack to how to train for your challenge! We work closely with our charity partners to ensure plenty of support with your fundraising.
UNBEATABLE VALUE
With inclusive packages with flights, transfers, ground transport, food and accommodation as standard, you can relax knowing that all the logistical components of your trip are taken care of, and focus on enjoying this trip-of-a-lifetime.
Our competitive pricing is completely transparent, with no hidden surcharges or fees. We don’t charge a cancellation fee like some travel companies do, and we’ll always provide the option to defer your challenge to the following year, just in case something unexpected crops up.
SUSTAINABLE OPERATIONS
As well as our commitment to minimise our carbon footprint, the company is a signatory of the Travellers Against Plastic pledge, and a leading advocate of Animal Rights, in collaboration with our industry body, ABTA.
FINANCIAL PROTECTION
Regardless of the type of tour package you have booked, every penny of the money you pay towards your trip is fully protected. Those whose travel itinerary includes international flights will be protected by our Air Travel Operator’s Licence (ATOL); while those who have registered on an event consisting of ground arrangements only will be protected under our ABTA membership.
This security puts customers at the very heart of our business model, in providing the guarantee that all their money is protected. Our double-bonding also protects our commercial partners - such as charities, businesses and universities - from any undue risk.
