YOUNG PEOPLE MUST NOT FACE CANCER ALONE
We’re here to give every young person facing cancer the best care and support.
Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”.
Teenage Cancer Trust creates world class cancer services for young people in the UK. We fund specialised nurses, youth workers and hospital units in the NHS, so young people have dedicated staff and facilities to support them throughout treatment. We’re the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need. Without our support young people can feel isolated, receiving treatment either alongside younger children or much older adults. They might never meet another person their age who knows what they’re going through.
By choosing to take part in a challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, you can help us to reach every young person facing cancer and make a huge difference.

How your support can help
A body confidence boost: Cancer can really change the way you look. £200 could help a Youth Support Coordinator bring young people a series of confidence boosting body image workshops where they can experiment with wigs, clothes and makeup – and feel more like themselves again.
An hour to talk: A Youth Support Coordinator provides the extra help young people need with things like studies, relationships and mental wellbeing throughout cancer treatment. £25 could pay for an hour of their time, helping them be there when they’re needed most.
A nurse who understands: Our nurses don’t just provide amazing medical care – they’re trained to support young people with the social and emotional impact of cancer too. £60 could provide a young person with two hours of care from an expert Teenage Cancer Trust Nurse.
A ward that feels like home: Our units are special because we make them feel like a home, not a hospital. £1000 could help equip a unit with all the things that make that possible, like TVs, sofas, pool tables and space to hang out and chat

Still don’t know what charity to support?
If you’re still unsure of which charity to choose to support, that’s not a problem! We’d recommend getting in touch with each charity that you’d like to support. They’ll be able to discuss how they’ll be able to support you on your journey, and what your money will be going towards.
